Forecasting Analyst

Supports Sales and Supply Chain in all aspects of selling products and meeting customer needs. Professional support functions in a fast-paced environment, dealing with moderately complex issues and managing conflicting priorities. Strong analytical and mathematical capabilities. Create a recommendation to support business decision-making. Detail-oriented, extremely well organized, and able to manage time and multi-task to accomplish a multitude of tasks, with conflicting priorities and timelines. Proficient administrative tasks: PC skills -Internet, Advanced MS Office: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and outlook. Excellent communication skills written/verbal digitally and in-person is a must.  Previous experience working with Mass Merchant Retailers is preferred.  Responsibilities include:

  • Continual monitoring and updating of the POS Report, Forecast Worksheet
  • Coordinating with personnel within company branches and externally to produce an accurate assessment of the specific account needs.
  • Weekly review and generation of various reports including Fill Rate, Consumption, Order Analysis, etc.
  • Completing the New Item load-in forecast
  • Account follow-up on Supply Chain needs
  • Assisting the Sales Management team with special requests for reports
  • Tracing performance of special projects
  • Analyze and create reports
  • Pull information from customer portals
  • Interprets info and identifies trends and opportunities
  • Monitors new items and communicates finds to customer and sales team

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Analytics or similar field of study
  • Advance planning and forecasting modeling in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central
  • Fast-moving consumer packaging experience and retail analyst experience and knowledge
  • APICS certified
  • Must be extremely organized
  • Required skills include public speaking, problem-solving and analytical skills, multi-tasking, organization, leadership, and time management.
  • Demonstrates aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine solutions for customers.
  • Must be results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Strong Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, etc.).
