What size recessed fixture do BR30 bulbs fit?
BR30 bulbs are designed for standard 6-inch recessed can fixtures. The '30' refers to the bulb's diameter in eighths of an inch — 30/8 = 3.75 inches — which fits flush in most 6-inch recessed housings. Feit Electric BR30 LEDs are available for both open and enclosed fixtures.
What's the difference between BR30 and BR40 bulbs?
BR30 and BR40 bulbs differ in size and fixture fit. BR30 bulbs have a 3.75-inch diameter and fit standard 6-inch recessed cans. BR40 bulbs have a 5-inch diameter and are designed for larger 8-inch recessed fixtures. If you have a 6-inch can, use a BR30. If you have an 8-inch can or need higher output for a large room, use a BR40.
Are BR30 LED bulbs dimmable?
