FAQ

Fairy & Decorative String Lights FAQs

Are LED fairy lights safe to use in bedrooms or near fabric?
Yes, absolutely. Our LED micro-bulbs are highly energy-efficient and emit almost no heat, even after hours of use. This makes them perfectly safe to drape around bed frames, curtains, or indoor plants without any fire risk.
Are these fairy lights battery-operated or do they plug in?
We offer both! For portable projects like mason jar crafts, centerpieces, or wrapping a wreath, our battery-operated fairy lights are perfect. For larger, permanent setups like lining a bedroom wall, we offer standard plug-in versions.
Can I bend the wire to hold a specific shape?
Yes. Many of our fairy lights are constructed with a flexible, ultra-thin copper or silver micro-wire. This allows you to easily bend, wrap, and mold the lights around objects, and the wire will hold its shape securely.
Can I use decorative fairy lights outside?
It depends on the model. While the micro-wire itself is often water-resistant, you must check if the battery pack or the plug-in adapter is rated for outdoor use. Always look for an 'indoor/outdoor' designation on the box.
How do I hang fairy lights on a wall without causing damage?
Because fairy lights are incredibly lightweight, you don't need nails. We recommend using small, clear adhesive decorative clips, clear damage-free tape, or even push pins spaced a few feet apart to safely guide the wire along your wall.
