Globe Light Bulbs

A globe light bulb is a round, ball-shaped bulb named for its spherical glass design. The most common sizes are G25 (3.125" diameter) for bathroom vanity bars and pendants, and G30 (3.75" diameter) for larger statement fixtures. Not all globe bulbs are dimmable — look for the dimmable label on the package. Standard globe LED bulbs are not rated for enclosed fixtures — the round glass shape traps heat and shortens bulb life in sealed housings.
