Vintage Edison & Bistro String Lights

FAQ

Vintage Edison & Bistro String Lights FAQs

Are these vintage-style bulbs durable enough for the outdoors?
Yes. While they feature a classic glass or clear polycarbonate look, our bistro lights are paired with commercial-grade, weatherproof cords and tightly sealed sockets designed to withstand year-round rain, wind, and extreme temperatures.
Do Edison-style string lights use a lot of electricity?
Not anymore! While traditional incandescent Edison bulbs used up to 40 watts each, our vintage string lights use advanced LED filaments. They provide the exact same warm, nostalgic glow while using up to 90% less energy.
What color is the light from these vintage bulbs?
To replicate the classic cafe look, these bulbs are designed with a 'Soft White' or 'Warm Amber' color temperature (typically between 2200K and 2700K). This creates a cozy, relaxing atmosphere perfect for evening dinners and backyard parties.
What happens if one of the bulbs goes out?
Our heavy-duty bistro strings are wired in parallel. This means if one bulb happens to burn out or get damaged, the rest of the string will remain lit. Plus, the sockets use standard bases so you can easily screw in a replacement.
How many of these bistro strings can I connect together?
Because they use highly efficient LED bulbs, you can connect multiple heavy-duty sets end-to-end to cover large patios or commercial spaces. Always check the specific product packaging, but many of our sets allow you to link up to 30 strands together on a single outlet.
