What You'll Do:

  • Assist with the month-end closing accounting process.
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of journal entries and accounting records.
  • Prepare corresponding back-up for journal entries, account reconciliations and roll forwards.
  • Process journal entries and maintain the general ledger as assigned by the Controller.
  • Understanding of accounting related to Balance Sheet accounts (Assets, Prepaids, Liabilities, Accruals) and Income Statement accounts (Revenue, COGS, OPEX).
  • Able to complete bank reconciliation on a monthly basis.
  • Review of cash receipts, disbursements, and bank activity.
  • Perform analysis of accrual accounts and prepare related journal entries.
  • Knowledge and ability to support accounts payable and accounts receivable with daily functions and operations.
  • Familiar with inventory fundamentals and valuation to support monthly close.
  • Support with the maintenance and valuation of fixed assets and depreciation.
  • General support with monthly, quarterly, annual financial statement reporting.
  • Support Controller with annual financial audit.
  • Provide accounting/financial analysis/financial reporting assistance in other areas as needed to meet deadlines or to resolve special projects.

General understanding and ability to support in following areas:

  • Annual budgeting.
  • Familiar with reading and preparing Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flows.
  • Effectively work as a team, even during times of change and/or uncertainty.

What You'll Need:

  • General understanding of GAAP accounting.
  • Knowledgeable with Microsoft products, Excel, Word, PP.
  • Able to research new subject matter and solve/propose solutions.
  • Detail oriented, maintain organized records, be timely.
  • Personable, demonstrate ability to work with and interact with employees.

      Pay Range:  $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 Salary (exempt) depending on experience.

       

      Additional Data: 

      Position is onsite Monday through Friday in our Pico Rivera, CA office. Position does not offer relocation package. No remote work available for this position.
