Business Impact and Financial Alignment
- Ensure the demand plan aligns with revenue goals, margin objectives, and working capital targets.
- Improve visibility into demand-driven inventory risk, excess exposure, and potential stockouts.
- Partner with Finance to ensure forecast assumptions support financial planning and reporting accuracy.
- Provide executive-level clarity on demand assumptions, risks, and scenario tradeoffs.
S&OP Leadership and Cross-Functional Influence
- Lead the Demand Review within the monthly S&OP cadence, ensuring alignment on priorities and tradeoffs.
- Drive disciplined input from Sales and Marketing while promoting shared accountability for forecast outcomes.
- Facilitate structured discussions around forecast changes, promotional lifts, and pipeline variability.
- Convert forecast variance analysis into actionable improvements rather than reactive adjustments.
Forecast Analytics and Governance
- Strengthen forecast hierarchy discipline and data integrity standards.
- Develop performance dashboards highlighting accuracy, bias, volatility, and risk by SKU and channel.
- Implement demand segmentation strategies for baseline, promotional, seasonal, new product, long-lead import, and end-of-life items.
- Lead root cause analysis of forecast gaps and institutionalize continuous improvement practices.
Team Leadership and Capability Development
- Build and mentor a high-performing Demand Planning team.
- Elevate analytical capability, commercial acumen, and business partnership mindset.
- Establish clear performance metrics tied to measurable business outcomes.
What You'll Need:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field required.
- Experience: 8 to 10 years of progressive experience in demand planning, forecasting, or S&OP leadership within consumer goods or distribution.
- Strong understanding of statistical forecasting, inventory dynamics, and financial implications of demand variability.

- Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive disciplined execution.
- Executive-level communication skills with the ability to translate data into business decisions.
What You'll Get:
- Competitive compensation and benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k, and paid time off.
- Opportunity to materially improve forecast stability, working capital efficiency, and service performance.
