Accounts Receivable Specialist - Pico Rivera, CA
Who We Are:
Feit Electric, a national leader in lighting and electrical products, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our corporate team in Pico Rivera, California. This role is ideal for an experienced AR professional who enjoys solving complex account issues, working with major retail customers, and partnering across departments to keep accounts accurate and moving forward. What You'll Do:
- Research and resolve customer deductions involving pricing, rebate discounts, damages, shortages, and freight claims.
- Manage chargebacks and deduction disputes through customer portals, ensuring issues are documented, tracked, and followed through to resolution.
- Partner with Sales Managers and Sales Coordinators to investigate and resolve customer account discrepancies.
- Monitor open disputes and follow up proactively across assigned customer accounts.
Respond promptly and professionally to Accounts Receivable requests and inquiries for assigned accounts. - Help maintain accurate account records and support timely reconciliation in a high-volume AR environment.
- Use available technology and AI tools to improve reconciliation, reporting, and day-to-day workflow efficiency.
- Other duties may be assigned.
What You'll Need:
- 5+ years of accounting or high-volume accounts receivable experience in a corporate environment (required).
- Experience supporting large retail or "Big Box" customer accounts; manufacturing or distribution experience is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Business Central, version 14.5 or later.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools, such as Claude, to streamline reconciliation, automate reporting, and improve workflow efficiency.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
Strong organization, follow-through, and attention to detail in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. - A proactive problem-solving mindset and strong work ethic.
