What You’ll Do:
Feit Electric is seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Director of Supply Chain to lead our Purchasing, Demand Planning, and Inbound Logistics teams. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), you will oversee the full spectrum of supply chain operations—from supplier management and demand forecasting to ocean freight and direct import programs—ensuring the right product is in the right place at the right time, at the right cost.
Key Responsibilities:
Purchasing & Supplier Management
- Lead the Purchasing team in managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and driving cost reductions.
- Ensure supplier performance on quality, reliability, and on-time delivery.
- Oversee fill rate performance, balancing cost, inventory levels, and service to customers.
- Implement purchasing strategies that align with company goals and customer needs.
Demand Planning & S&OP
- Own the demand forecast and ensure forecast accuracy through robust processes and analytics.
- Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to align supply and demand across departments.
- Guide CPFR (Collaborative Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment) with key customers.
- Drive SKU rationalization, ensuring the portfolio supports efficiency and growth.
Inbound Logistics & Direct Import
- Manage global inbound logistics, including carrier selection and ocean contract negotiations.
- Oversee processing of all commercial invoices, customs compliance, and documentation.
- Lead Direct Import programs, ensuring seamless coordination with suppliers, carriers, and customers.
- Optimize container utilization, freight cost efficiency, and lead time reliability.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Mentor and develop high-performing teams across purchasing, planning, and logistics.
- Monitor and manage supply chain KPIs including fill rate, forecast accuracy, MOS (months of supply), cost savings, and on-time delivery.
- Foster a collaborative, proactive culture that raises the bar in operational excellence.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in managing S&OP Process, demand planning/ forecasting, or similar supply chain roles within medium-to-large corporate environments required.
- Deep understanding and market knowledge of consumer goods and global supply chain planning.
- Strategic thinker and team leader, capable of navigating and managing organizational dynamics positively and effectively.
- Experience in customer demand planning and inventory management.
- Demonstrated expertise in supply chain forecasting methodologies and inventory management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in specialized software related to demand forecasting, inventory management, data analysis, and reporting.
