Are these string lights safe to leave outside year-round?
For permanent, year-round outdoor installation, always check the packaging to confirm the string lights are 'Wet Location Rated.' Feit Electric sets marked for wet locations feature heavy-duty, commercial-grade cords engineered to safely withstand continuous rain, wind, and extreme weather.
Can I connect multiple sets of string lights together?
Most standard plug-in sets are linkable end-to-end. However, solar-powered and battery-operated sets are typically not linkable. Always check the packaging for the maximum number of sets you can safely connect.
Are the bulbs shatterproof?
Many Feit Electric string lights use shatter-resistant acrylic (plastic) LED bulbs. They provide the classic look of glass but are designed to survive drops and high winds without breaking.
If one bulb burns out, do the rest stay lit?
