Job description:

We're in search of an experienced Amazon Advertising Specialist with a specific focus on Amazon to join our dynamic team. As a leading lighting and smart home brand, we've earned a reputation for our innovative, budget-friendly products tailored for everyday living. Online Marketplaces are a key strategic focus for the company as buying habits and preferences evolve. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual with a proven track record using Amazon Vendor Central, Amazon Seller Central and Amazon Ad Management to join our team. As a Marketplace Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing our current Amazon strategy, encompassing strategic advertising campaigns to drive traffic, increase sales, and maximize ROI across various Amazon platforms.

 Specific job duties:

  • Campaign Strategy and Planning: Develop comprehensive advertising strategies tailored to specific products or brands on Amazon Marketplace. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align advertising initiatives with overall business goals.
  • Ad Campaign Creation and Optimization: Create, launch, and optimize advertising campaigns using Amazon's advertising platform (AMS) and other third-party tools. Continuously monitor campaign performance, adjust bids, keywords, and targeting parameters to maximize efficiency and achieve KPIs.
  • Keyword Research and Optimization: Conduct thorough keyword research to identify high-impact keywords and phrases relevant to target products. Utilize keyword optimization techniques to enhance product visibility and improve ad performance.
  • Budget Management: Manage advertising budgets effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of funds to achieve desired results within specified cost targets. Monitor spending trends and make data-driven decisions to optimize budget allocation across campaigns.
  • Performance Analysis and Reporting: Analyze campaign performance metrics, including impressions, clicks, conversions, and ROI. Generate regular reports to provide insights into campaign effectiveness and make recommendations for optimization and improvement.
  • Competitor Analysis: Stay informed about competitive landscape and industry trends related to Amazon advertising. Conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities and inform advertising strategies.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and product management, to coordinate advertising efforts and ensure alignment with overall business objectives. Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on campaign performance and seek input for optimization.


    • A bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in e-commerce marketing, particularly with Amazon Vendor or Seller Central
    • Hands-on experience building, analyzing, and optimizing catalog on Direct-to-Consumer Platforms.
    • Proven experience developing and optimizing PPC campaigns. Experience with PacVue preferred but not required
    • Expert user of Microsoft Excel or other database tools, and eager to work with large data sets
    • Strong understanding of each platform’s algorithms, SEO, and e-commerce best practices

        Hourly Range:  $35 to $40 (non-exempt)


        Additional Data: 

        We prefer the position be onsite Monday through Friday in our Pico Rivera, CA office. Position does not offer relocation package.
