Manhattan SCALE WMS System Manager – Los Angeles, CA 

 

Job Description

We are looking for a Manhattan SCALE Systems Manager. Candidates for this position will have five+ years working in high-volume distribution center(s) and 2+ years hands-on experience supporting/managing Manhattan SCALE 2020 or later.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support daily operational excellence in partnership with our warehouse operations team.  You’ll be the go-to for all questions/issues arising in the warehouses.
  • Work with Warehouse leadership to enhance operations through improved wave strategies, location optimization, productivity assessment etc.
  • Support system configuration of Manhattan Associates SCALE WMS. Create and maintain WMS configuration documentation.
  • Drive design/test/deployment of WMS extensions with Manhattan.
  • Lead SCALE updates and upgrades.
  • Work with infrastructure support to resolve network, scanner, printer issues in the warehouse.  Support server and SQL server security patches and performance optimization.
  • Work with ERP developers for enhanced integration.
  • Support SSRS reporting and working with BI developers creating Power BI reports.
  • Develop training materials and train warehouse employees in new processes and systems.
  • Coordinate with Manhattan Associates development and support teams as needed.
  • Other job duties may be assigned.

    Requirements:

    • Extensive hands-on experience supporting Manhattan SCALE WMS in high-volume, multiple warehouses, multiple building operations.  Candidates without SCALE experience will not be considered.
    • Extensive technical expertise – strong working knowledge of SQL Server, Windows Server, networking, and printing solutions.
    • Experience with SSRS and/or SQL Server reporting tools. 
    • Strong working knowledge of the SCALE database model sufficient to support development and validation of reports.
    • Strong knowledge of warehousing operations from receipt to shipping.
    • Experience implementing SCALE and/or supporting significant SCALE upgrades.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills.
    • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics BC (preferred) or other top-tier ERP system.
    • Experience with data analysis for warehouse KPIs like productivity is a strong plus.
    • Data analysis skills, strong experience with Power BI or similar BI solution is a strong plus.
    • Analytical thinker: demonstrated ability to synthesize complex data into simple, compelling recommendations for improvement.

     

    Additional Data: 

    Position is onsite Monday through Friday in our Pico Rivera, CA office. Position does not offer relocation package. No remote work available for this position.


      Pay Range for the position is $130,000.00 to $180,000.00 (Exempt)
